The Entiat City Park has a lot to offer. Most of the facilities are newer having been completed a few years ago. The park offers a boat launch, lake side nature trail for pedestrians or bicyclists, both tent camping and RV sites, playground, covered picnic sites, and a nice sandy swimming beach.
Entiat is a small town located in between Wenatchee and Chelan, both the park and the town are right off the main highway 97, so it’s perfect for stretching your legs and letting the kids run. Follow the natural trail and see what types of wild critters you might wander upon.
The Entiat City Park was designed and built by the Chelan County PUD. It was built to be ecologically sound. The banks of the Entiat offer plenty of cattails and other forage to protect wildlife habitats. You will see lots of ducks, birds, and occasional deer at this park. It is dog friendly, but please keep them leashed.
