Welcome to one of the most impressive gardens in Snohomish County. A vibrant and beating heart amidst the oasis that we know as Jennings Park In Marysville, Wa. There is something for everyone here, but let us first discuss the plant life!
The Master Gardner Demonstration garden (that’s a mouthful!) is volunteer ran and absolutely an adventure in itself. There are walking paths throughout the 1 acre garden displaying different themes. One side is a vegetable garden that when harvested is donated to the local food bank. Supplying fresh and healthy produce to those that can’t afford it. Good on you, Jennings Park!!!
With 31 acres of diverse landscape, this park will cure even the most severe cases of boredom. For instance, you might want to follow one of the nature trails down the hill to visit the recently updated Jennings Dinosaur Playground, go fishin’ in the Kiwanis Youth Fishing Pond with the big fountain, play ball in the sports area, leash the dogs and go for a stroll or just find a bench and sit and gaze.
Jennings Park is a beautiful collaboration of volunteer efforts and the Marysville Parks Department. I have only scratched the surface in mentioning the resources here and would highly recommend kids from 0 to 100 to come partake in this well designed and immaculately kept slice of nature. There is no age limit for fun and adventure in my book!
