Every spring I read the flyers and think I’m going to go to all these movies under the stars. Then summer arrives and I threw away the flyer months ago and I can’t remember what the schedule is or what park and I find myself on the sofa. Not so this year! I’m combining a schedule of movies under the stars not just for me, but for you too.
If you plan to catch a movie under the stars don’t forget your lounge chair and blankie. Bring a picnic dinner and get there early so, you can secure a great spot. Just make sure your lounge chair is low to the ground and permitted. Some of these locales bring in food trucks which give you some fun food options.
Here is a list of parks and links to summer movie spots:
Jennings Park, Lions Centennial Pavilion, Marysville, WA
There are so many other cities and towns hosting movies in the park this summer. Google cities near you to find out times and locations. Most of these public events tend to be free, but always double check the website. I did see Marymoor does have a fee this year. Also, double check park rules on bringing chairs and remember alcohol is not allowed in public parks.
